Seippelabel is a digital platform that showcases artists the founders have come into contact with over the years and know on a personal basis. We are currently dually based in Beijing and New Orleans. One of our goals is to represent and support the creative outlets of our friends, whether it be sonic or visual. Seippelabel strives to foster a community of artists across the globe.

From 2015 to 2019, Seippelabel released ten compilations and organized over ten events in China and the United States. In 2015, Chinese artists were hard to find on BandCamp, and the initial idea was to make more Chinese artist visible to foreigner audiences while making underground international artist more known to the domestic crowd. Therefore, Vol. 1 was born. Fast forward to Seippelabel Vol. 10, arguably the first footwork compilation showcasing almost entirely Chinese artists.
